Robotic Surgeries

Dr. Bobby is one of the 50 surgeons performing surgeries robotically nationwide. He believes that robotics is a tool that enhances his ability to do sophisticated maneuvers and use his skills extensively.

With the state-of-the-art da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, Dr. Bobby is able to perform robot-assisted surgery, which allows 360-degree wrist rotation, resulting in better visualization, more precise surgery, and shorter recovery time for patients. Using four robotic arms, Dr. Bobby will make gestures, and the robot will translate them into ultra-precise movements into your body.

Surgical Procedures

At Lite Life Surgery, we offer a wide range of robot-assisted bariatric surgeries in Southern California. We take the time to learn more about you, your needs, your medical history, and your requirements; so we can create an individualized program for you.

Weight Loss

There are four main weight loss surgery procedures available: gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, gastric band, and modified duodenal switch.

Other Surgeries

We also offer other robot-assisted surgeries to help you with your weight and overall health, such as removing inguinal hernias, gallbladder, appendix, and others.

Nutrition

At Lite Life Surgery, we offer a Non-Surgical Individualized Weight Loss and Nutritional Counseling Program for those who do not qualify for surgery or prefer not to. It includes monthly visits with our Registered Dietitian, Courtney, and our Nurse Practitioner, Heather, for your individualized weight loss program through diet, behavior, and exercise modifications.

And as with any weight loss procedure, lifestyle modification and dietary adherence play a critical part in determining the long-term success of your bariatric surgery. Our team will continue to work with you after your surgery for long-term weight loss success and maintenance.

We are also offering a Jump-Start Liver Cleanse Diet to kickstart your journey to weight loss and help clear your liver of toxins, sugar, and other harmful substances.

Exercise Program

Did you know that you need up to 300 minutes of moderate physical activity a week to lose or maintain weight? And exercising can also fire up your metabolism!

At Lite Life Surgery, we offer two free exercise classes a week for all patients. A personalized exercise routine will be provided based on your abilities and specific needs.

Support Group

Everyone (pre-op, post-op bariatric patients and their support persons) is welcome to join our support group sessions moderated by our Registered Dietitian, Courtney.

Support groups meet the second Monday of every month from 6:30pm - 8:00 pm. We meet in the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences, Round building behind the hospital, at Eisenhower Medical Center (39000 Bob Hope Dr. Rancho Mirage, CA 92270).
