Dr. Bobby was educated at Loma Linda University
School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. He completed
his residency at Brookdale University Hospital & Medical
Center New York, NY. , furthered his education with a
Fellowship at University of California, Davis Medical
Center, Sacramento, CA., where he trained with world
renowned surgeons and was a Clinical Instructor of
Surgery. He currently serves as a proctor for new
bariatric surgeons as well as for experienced bariatric
surgeons who are interested in improving their
technique.
He has performed over 600 Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y
Gastric Bypass Procedures (LGB Roux-en-Y) with
superior outcomes far above the national average. He
believes that the LGB Roux-en-Y procedure has evolved
since its inception and has undergone modifications that
lead to safer surgery and a better outcome for the
patient. Fellowship trained surgeons, like Dr. Bobby,
have perfected techniques, like over-sewing specific
staple lines or closing certain defects that transfer to the
patient in the form of better results.
